PAUL SCHEURING was born in Aurora, Illinois. At the age of five, he and his family moved to Davis, California, where he grew up. He graduated from the School of Theater, Film and Television at UCLA with a B.A. in Film and Television.
Scheuring has been a working writer, director, and producer since 1999. He has written numerous projects for film and TV, including People’s Choice Award: Favorite New Television Drama Winner and Golden Globe-nominated Prison Break, A Man Apart starring Vin Diesel, and Den of Thieves.
He wrote and directed The Experiment starring Academy Award Winners Adrien Brody and Forest Whitaker and served as a producer alongside Ridley Scott on Klondike, a series he created and co-wrote.
Scheuring spent a decade in LA, then moved back to Northern California where he currently lives with his wife and two children.
His first novel, The Far Shore, was released March 7, 2017—his third novel is in the works.
